App Downloads Reach 58,852 Downloads for October, Registered User Count Now Tops 422,000

For the month of October, the Company showed continued member growth by adding 58,852 new downloads of the iHookup Social app, as reported by the Apple App Store. To date, the company has now surpassed 422,439 registered users, the vast majority of which have come in 2014 alone. As previously reported, iHookup has chosen to reduce certain mobile advertising spends from October through year end, when advertising premiums currently being driven up by holiday retail spending tapers off.

“I am pleased to have had nearly 60,000 new downloads in a month where we chose to significantly reduce our spending on front end user acquisitions in favor of investing in additional engagement testing, price point modifications and overall feature enhancements that have proven to increase our conversion rates from a download to an actual registered user,” stated Robert Rositano, CEO, iHookup Social. “Our internal metrics are showing an immediate pay-off in our strategy for this fourth quarter, confirming for the month of October we’ve received more registered users on less downloads, with a 17% increase in this one metric alone.”
