JUPITER, FL, United States, via ETELIGIS INC., 03/20/2015 – – RenuEn Corporation (OTC Pink: RENU) (PINKSHEETS: RENU), a Renewable Energy Development and EPC Company announced today they have ceased operating their Energy Solutions residential installation and dealer program.
Jeff Nemes, CEO of RenuEn stated, “We recently announced that RenuEn filed a federal Civil RICO and Lanham Act complaint (6:14-cv-1754-Orl-41TBS) against numerous individuals. The Federal action was filed against John Lameira, Americas Green Energy Source, Attorney Cathy Lerman and her husband Coral Springs Police Detective Steven Lerman. The suit was filed in response to a multi-month, widespread online defamation campaign waged against the company by a competitor and the Lerman’s who began posting false claims and defamatory statements on the Lerman Law Firm Blog and the City of Coral Springs Police Facebook Page. These postings led to a multi-pronged twitter and internet campaign claiming the company was committing fraud. The posts also encouraged our customers to file complaints against the company with various agencies and further instructed customers to stop paying their finance company for services rendered.”
Nemes added, “The resulting loss of not only existing business but also future business has been too much for the company to overcome. The company, in its lawsuit, seeks millions of dollars in damages for loss of business and loss of market share. Although Chief Legal Officer Alex Kim and I were personally targeted, this lawsuit was filed on behalf of the company and its shareholders who have also been damaged by the defamation and tortious interference with our company’s operations.”
Alex Kim, Chief Legal Officer of RenuEn stated, “Although the company is discontinuing the Energy Solutions Dealer program, we fully intend to continue pursuing those that have damaged the company to the fullest extent of the law.” Kim continued, “The Company intends to keep our shareholders informed with updates by posting all public documents related to the lawsuit so shareholders are kept informed of the progress of the lawsuit. The documents will be available for download early next week and will be found at www.RenuEn.com/legal.”
Nemes ended by stating, “We will continue to explore the development of additional business opportunities however the effects of the intentional defamation of the company and its officers has effectively killed the business that had shown so much potential. The company is confident in the merits of our lawsuit and continuing investigation of the persons responsible. We will continue to update our shareholders on our progress. Any requests for information should be directed via email to legal.”
